Biography
Nil Larom is French and Israeli, a third-culture professional who has never quite belonged to one place, and she has made that her starting point rather than her complaint. She is the founder of Insaight, where she works on AI adoption strategy, helping people and companies use these tools without losing their own voice in the process.
She moves between worlds for a living, languages, countries, identities, and she is sharp about what that actually does to a person. Growing up between cultures taught her early that reinvention is not a one-time event, it is just how some of us live, and she talks about that without any of the usual tidy inspiration.
She also thinks in more than one language, and she is genuinely interested in how that changes the way a person reasons, which is part of why she is so alert to what generic, flattened AI communication quietly costs us.

What the conversation covered
We talked about identity and the feeling of never fully belonging anywhere, and how she turned that from a quiet ache into something she actually uses. She described how the language you think in shapes the way you think, which is not an abstract idea for someone who switches between several of them, and why reinvention has been a constant rather than a milestone for her.
She also compared living in China to living in Europe, and said China feels faster and more alive to her. And she was clear about the danger she sees in generic AI communication, where everyone starts sounding the same and the texture that makes a person recognisable gets sanded off.
